In a discourse on the same theme, a YSS sannyasi explained how this “war” waged between good and evil habits inside us, will eventually be won by those who persevere, and shared the means to achieve this final victory of the soul.
These reassuring words — “यतः कृष्णस्ततो जयः” (“Where there is Krishna, there is victory”) — appearing several times in the Mahabharata, offer solace to all sincere devotees on the spiritual path. Thus, if we follow Krishna — by following his teachings — we are following dharma; and as the Bhagavad Gita says: where dharma is, there is victory.
