New SRF Online Meditation Centre – Join Swami Chidananda Giri for the Launch Event

October 7, 2019

We invite you to experience the inspiring launch of the Self-Realization Fellowship Online Meditation Centre, conducted by Swami Chidanandaji on Monday, October 7. Here is the full video of the event, which included a brief talk by Swami Chidanandaji followed by his leading the first official guided meditation conducted by this centre.

The SRF Online Meditation Centre’s purpose is to provide SRF/YSS members and friends around the world who may not be able to attend group meditations at an SRF temple or meditation group with the opportunity to experience the benefits and blessings of regularly meditating with other devotees. Please visit their website for more information, including a schedule of weekly meditations offered by this centre.

In addition, online study groups will provide individuals the opportunity to participate in group study of the Yogoda Satsanga/Self-Realization Fellowship Lessons, as well as our Guru’s commentary on the Bhagavad Gita (God Talks With Arjuna) and the teachings of Jesus in the Gospels (The Second Coming of Christ: The Resurrection of the Christ Within You).

The SRF Online Meditation Centre was first announced by Swami Chidanandaji at his talk at the 2019 SRF Convocation in Los Angeles. (Click below to watch a short excerpt of that talk, where Swamiji introduces this project.)

This online centre was made possible through the generosity of a devoted group of SRF lay members called Yogananda Seva, dedicated to supporting and assisting SRF International Headquarters through a variety of projects. (Click below to watch a short video excerpt where Swami Chidanandaji talks about this, and about the potential for SRF/YSS lay members around the world to participate in guru-seva — service to our Guru and his work.)

This unique online program offers exciting possibilities for seekers to deepen their practice of meditation and more closely uniting Paramahansa Yogananda’s world family. We hope you will join us for the joyous inaugural meditation and afterwards for regular group meditation and study.
